We’re already two months into the new year! I’ve been looking at my goals and the ways that I track them, as well as how well I keep track of all the various tasks and projects on my plate these days. Confession: I’m a planner nerd. And while I love my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air… I’d rather plan on paper. Not that I haven’t tried going the digital route, and there have been times when a mix of paper and digital has worked, but for the most part I’m partial to paper. Filofax. Circa. Franklin Covey. I’m a collector, too… but I digress.
I’m fascinated by how others manage their time and tasks. If anyone reading this blog would like to share, I’m all ears. We all have so much work to do, so many things to get done, so many schedules and goals and bucket lists… So how can we make the best use of our time, using the hours God gives us each day in the best possible way?
Two things that help me are 1) write everything down – get it all out of my head – and sort through it later; and 2) faithfully and consistently make time for a quick daily review and a longer weekly review.
“Teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12)
