Wisdom for the Widowed

Wisdom for the Widowed

This year, my husband and I celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. The cliche holds true for us: it seems like yesterday and yet I cannot imagine my life without him. The bond we’ve shared these years is a bond like no other on earth. I am thankful to God each day for him.

Thus, I cannot imagine losing him and yet, chances are, I will be a widow one day.

Elizabeth Bookser Barkley‘s new book, Life After Death: Practical Help for the Widowed, offers real advice for those who have just lost a spouse. Watch a video of Elizabeth discussing her book:

For me, wisdom is found from women who lived experiences before me. Thank you, Elizabeth, for sharing your experience so others may learn.
