Sister Rose–in the news!

You never know what’s going to happen when you leave here for the weekend. I was exploring  Twitter yesterday and came across our freelancer Maria Lourdes Scaperlanda’s congratulatory note to St. Anthony Messenger’s film reviewer Sister Rose Pacatte, FSP. Our good friend Sister Rose, I discovered, had been subject of a New York Times feature on Saturday, about Rose’s presence at the Sundance Film Festival.

Rose was on a panel and “got discovered” by a NYT journalist. The article: “Acting as a Mediator at the Crossroads of Faith and Film.” Rose, you’re always in the middle of things. She really does help make the connections between faith and culture, as great calling for the Church in our time. What a blast! And Rose was kind enough to mention St. Anthony Messenger as one of the publications whom she works for.

We’re glad she started here–may her rising star continue to shine!
