Recently I had the privilege of producing Fr. Albert McBride O. Praem voice the audiobook of his newly released book, Staying Faithful Today: To God, Ourselves, One Another. During the record and afterward, I was struck by how much good the simple virtue of fidelity would accomplish in the lives of individuals, for our culture and for society in general. Fr. Al hits the target on the bulls eye as he outlines how what ails us in these areanas and how a simple embrace of being true to God would rite the ship in our lives.
Fr. Al is a humble man. A wonderful priest who has contributed more to American Catholicism than most are aware of. You may be familiar with the United States Catholic Catechism of Adults, St. Anthony Messenger Press produced the audio version.
If your are familiar with this work, then you are familiar with Fr. Al. He wrote the book! This humble Norbertine priest was invited by the United States Bishops to put his talents to work on translating the core doctrines of our faith for the American Church!
His latest book for St. Anthony Messenger Press, Staying Faithful Today: To God, Ourselves, One Another, will be available for you this fall in audio form. Look for it at AmericanCatholic.org and FranciscanMedia.org.
